HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2006--Positron Corporation (OTCBB:POSC), manufacturer of positron emission tomography (PET) scanners, announced today that it recently received governmental approval from the People's Republic of China for a joint venture with Neusoft Medical Systems in Shenyang, China. Business for the joint venture called Neusoft-Positron Medical Systems Co., Ltd. officially commenced on January 18, 2005 with an opening ceremony at the new office in Shenyang, China. Neusoft-Positron Medical Systems will manufacture all of Positron's PET and PET/CT systems.
