PRESS RELEASE

Wednesday, July 26, 2006

Quantum Molecular Pharmaceuticals affiliate Imaging PET Technologies records its 150th sale of its IS2 SPECT camera.

Houston, TX – July 26, 2006 – Quantum Molecular Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Quantum), a subsidiary of Imagin Diagnostic Centres, Inc. announced today that its affiliate IS2 Medical Systems, a division of Imaging PET Technologies, have recently sold the 150th IS2 SPECT camera to a United States customer. This sales number is significant as a threshold that represents an increasing install base, product acceptance and market demand. IS2 Medical Systems has experienced a 45% growth in unit sales in each of the past two years, and a 300% increase in the install base of the IS2 SPECT camera over the past four years.

IS2 camera installations exist primarily in the United States with additional units in Canada, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, China, Asia, the Middle East and select other international markets. Since 2004, over 90% of IS2’s camera sales have been to the United States fueled largely by increased demand in the cardiac camera market and the advanced features of IS2’s state-of-the-art SPECT scanners.

Recently the Company has secured its CE Mark which will open Europe as a major target market. IS2’s small-footprint cardiac camera called the “PULSE CDC” represented the first cardiac imaging mobile installation in Europe.

In addition to cardiac imaging, the Company has investigated the use of SPECT imaging for neurology. Although a dedicated cardiac camera, the PULSE CDC was designed to allow for future adaptation for brain imaging. In June 2006 a Canadian clinic reported successful brain perfusion imaging using the PULSE CDC. With an ageing population base, the Company believes that the number of brain imaging studies has potential for significant growth, especially in the United States, and as such the popularity of brain imaging-capable-cameras will increase. IS2 sells both directly and via local dealers and agents.

Quantum also owns a control position in Positron Corporation, a Houston-based publicly traded company that is a manufacturer of PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scanners and the leader in cardiac PET.

Quantum in partnership with its subsidiary Positron acquired 100% of the assets of Ottawa-based IS2 in order to facilitate technology and marketing synergies between the companies.

Joseph Oliverio, President of Positron stated, “IS2 has an excellent quality product line and has experienced significant success in marketing their PULSE CDC to cardiology groups. Positron will be able to build on IS2’s marketing expertise and distribution network to introduce Positron’s mPower PET technology. Positron has formed a joint venture with Neusoft Medical Systems of China and will begin delivery the latest mPower PET later this year. The full range of nuclear PET and SPECT cameras that both companies now offer, will give us an edge in the marketplace and allows us to deliver complete solutions to our combined customer base. We also look forward to the opportunity to enter the rapidly expanding organ-specific SPECT and PET medical device market currently under development and diversify from our leadership position in cardiac PET.”
