Positron Corporation Installs Second PET Scanner at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee

Houston, TX -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- August 18, 2004 -- Positron Corporation (OTCBB:POSC - News), manufacturer of positron emission tomography (PET) scanners, delivered and installed a second Positron PET Scanner, a new mPower™, to Baptist Hospital located at 2000 Church Street in Nashville, Tennessee. This system sale will be recorded in the company's third fiscal quarter financial results.
